Leeds-based event specialist AYRE Event Solutions has achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification, awarded by Approachable Certification Ltd, making it the first AV and Event Production company in the region to attain this standard.
The certification process began in February 2024 and was completed in under seven months, a notably swift achievement observed by Tallentire Consultancy Ltd, who supported them through the process. As consultants, they were impressed by the professionalism and determination of the entire AYRE team throughout the ISO 9001 journey. This achievement highlights AYRE’s commitment to quality management and compliance, setting it apart from competitors.
AYRE Events' HR & Accounts Manager, Ryan Driver-Ayre, spearheaded the initiative to achieve ISO 9001 certification and shares how it has improved the company’s business processes so far: "Although we already had robust systems in place, achieving ISO 9001 certification has allowed us to thoroughly evaluate and enhance all areas of our business. By implementing ISO 9001 elements, we have established a Non-Conformance log to systematically document and report all issues to the management team.
“Our new workflows clearly outline the steps for different processes, ensuring consistency across the organisation. Detailed work instructions provide guidance to all team members, helping them follow the correct procedures. Additionally, document revision practices make it easy to communicate new and updated processes, ensuring everyone remains aligned and informed.”
For partners, the certification provides a framework for selecting suppliers and vendors who align with AYRE's commitment to exceptional customer service.
AYRE plans to maintain and build upon this certification by continually assessing and improving its Quality Management System. The company is also considering pursuing ISO 14001, Environmental Management System certification next year, further enhancing its commitment to quality and sustainability.
