Leading B2B vehicle and plant hire solution Nexus Rental’s Non-Executive Chairman, David Brennan has been inducted into the 2025 Fleet News Hall of Fame, an accolade that recognises outstanding contributions to the fleet sector throughout an individual's career.
David Brennan has built a distinguished career that spans several decades, and is highlighted by a focus on strategic leadership, innovation and a passion for excellence in customer service. He began his career at the Rover Group in the late 1980’s, with a varied career path before entering the fleet industry in 2006. In his position as Managing Director for the fleet business, he led a period of substantial growth, doubling profits, improving customer loyalty to 90% and being awarded Sunday Times ‘Best Companies’ status.
David joined Nexus Rental in 2014 as CEO before transitioning to his current position as Non-Executive Chairman. He applied his strategic vision to exceed growth objectives and support the company’s mission to connect businesses with reliable, flexible vehicle and plant hire solutions. His induction into the Fleet News Hall of Fame underscores the value of experience, vision and collaboration in an industry undergoing rapid change.
