Tilz Prosperitas Limited

Tilz Prosperitas Limited, the Leeds-based global e-commerce and B2B company dedicated to scaling brands, connecting markets and driving international trade, is poised to treble its turnover to £9m and grow its team to 20 by 2029, with support from West Yorkshire Business Boost’s (WYBB) Leading Growth and Export Programmes.
Founded by businesswoman, Tayo Adebisi, the multimillion-pound company began in 2017 by selling locally sourced toys in the UK. It evolved into the online store, TilzMart, selling furniture, toys and garden products. This was followed by the launch of the flagship brand, TilzCollection, in 2021 supplying food and beverages in seasonal gifting formats.
With an initial injection of just £5k capital, this financial year (Feb 2025 to Jan 2026) the business has already turned over £3.5m and is on target to reach £4.5m by January. Today, Tilz employs seven full-time and eight part-time staff at the Leeds-based warehouse and exports across Europe including the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and France and North America.
Tayo Adebisi’s rise to global export entrepreneur began when she found herself in a stressful role that led to her suffering from anxiety. Tayo’s turning point came when her manager refused to let her leave work to take her one-year-old daughter to the hospital. She resigned soon after and took inspiration from a relative who suggested selling products on Amazon to generate some income.
With a clear vision to create a household brand offering affordable and thoughtful gifts, Tayo’s husband, Dr Oladipo Adewale, joined the firm in May 2024 as Managing Director. Together they were matched with leadership, export and growth specialists from West Yorkshire Business Boost.
As part of the WYBB Innovation & Leadership programme, Exemplas Growth Specialist, Caroline Kindy, worked with Tilz to explore the company’s Ambition, Opportunity, and Capacity using a powerful multi-factor Growth Diagnostic, which lead to the development of a Growth Action Plan. A grant was also awarded for them to work with James Lennon, who has 40 years’ consultancy experience in retail and e-commerce. James guided them through strategic roadmapping, putting them in a strong position to expand their wholesale and e-commerce operations and start new sales strategies.
This 2024 consultation also secured them a place on the Leadership Programme, allowing Ola to work directly with approved business coach, Rachel Stirling. This strengthened his leadership skills to create a cohesive team of skilled and dedicated employees, which led to the recruitment of a sales director and two sales representatives.
In 2025, Tayo secured a place on the Leading Growth Programme where she linked her learning to a Change Project to steer the strategic development of a new ecommerce consulting and 3PL logistics service.
Tayo and Ola were paired with Karla Tun through the Export Programme, who supported them in developing a sustainable growth plan to achieve their export goals. They received a grant to attend two trade shows in Germany and, after being connected with the Department for Business and Trade, have recently secured trade loans worth up to £200,000 which will enable the business to meet demand from Europe and expand sales into North America. Today, export sales account for 50% of turnover and this trajectory is set to increase to 65% by 2029.
Founder and CEO of Tilz Prosperitas Limited, Tayo Adebisi, said: “The support we’ve received has enabled us to focus on developing critical strategies for growth in a competitive landscape. We’ve gained access to expert guidance, allowing us to refine our export strategy, adopt innovative approaches and strengthen leadership capacity.
“This has been instrumental in enhancing our resilience and expanding market reach which will help us to achieve our goals for the next three years and strengthen our position for long-term success.”
Caroline Kindy, Growth Specialist at West Yorkshire Business Boost, added: “Tilz is a shining example of how great vision, leadership and innovation can play a key role in building operational stability and driving business growth. I’m confident that with this new insight, Tayo and Ola will meet their ambitious plans to treble turnover.”
Tayo and Ola are set to expand Tilz’s B2B sales, particularly in the EU and USA, by moving into more physical stores, establishing B2B partnerships and strengthening their presence at International trade shows. They also have plans to broaden their product range to more stable year-round items, explore new markets including Australia, China and Mexico and launch an e-commerce consultancy arm to share their expertise.
With their experience in supply chain management and logistics, next year they will fully utilise their 8000 sqft facility by providing operational support to businesses including warehousing, inventory management, order fulfilment and transportation support.
In Tayo’s quest to champion, support and empower female founders and ethnic minority businesses and nurture positive work cultures, she is also building an e-commerce platform that will launch in April. Working with the Department for Business and Trade for Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and India, the new portal will support digital enterprise and reduce trade barriers by linking global entrepreneurs and start-ups with the UK market.
